Dirty Scoundrels' Pryce Featured on May 28 "Breakfast with the Arts"

By Andrew Gans
27 May 2006

Tony Award winner Jonathan Pryce will be part of the May 28 broadcast of “Breakfast with the Arts,” the Sunday-morning entertainment program on the A&E Network.

Pryce will chat about his latest Broadway role, con artist Lawrence Jameson in the hit musical Dirty Rotten Scoundrels at the Imperial Theatre. Pryce replaced the role's originator, John Lithgow, on Jan 17.

The two-hour A&E program will also feature segments about British rockers Gomez, Peter Bogdanovich and the Criterion Collection, and the Panama Jazz Festival.

Jonathan Pryce won Tony Awards for his performances in Miss Saigon and Comedians and has also appeared on Broadway in Accidental Death of an Anarchist. He received Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for his performance in "Barbarians at the Gate" and was also seen in the film of Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Evita" as well as the Cole Porter biopic "De-Lovely."

"Breakfast with the Arts" airs from 8-10 AM ET on A&E. Karina Huber hosts. Check local listings or visit www.aetv.com for more information.
