Matt Bogart, who's been seen on Broadway in Aida and The Civil War, will head the cast of The Full Monty at the Music Theatre of Wichita.

Bogart will play Jerry Lukowski, the role created on Broadway by Patrick Wilson. Monty, which features a score by Dirty Rotten Scoundrels' David Yazbek and a book by Terrence McNally, will play the Kansas venue June 7-11.

Bogart's official website says the actor will aso star in a production of 110 in the Shade for Theatre Under the Stars in Houston, TX. Bogart will play Starbuck opposite Lynne Wintersteller (Lizzie) and George Dvorsky (File). The Tom Jones-Harvey Schmidt-N. Richard Nash musical will run May 9-21.

Matt Bogart was seen as Paul in the Kennedy Center mounting of Stephen Sondheim's Company, and his Broadway credits include Aida, The Civil War, Miss Saigon and Smokey Joe's Cafe. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati's College Conservatory of Music, Bogart has appeared in regional productions of Camelot, Carousel and Side Show, and his debut solo recording, "Simple Songs," is available on the Jay Records label. He was also part of the premiere cast of Frank Wildhorn's Camille Claudel at Goodspeed, and his recent theatrical credits include Himself and Nora (Old Globe), Phantom (Music Theatre of Wichita) and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Kennedy Theatre).
