The Manhattan nightspot 54 Below launches its new interview series, 54 Chats, Dec. 1.
The first interview in the series, which begins at 7 PM, features a discussion between Tony-winning actor John Lithgow (M. Butterfly, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels) and Tony-winning director Jack O'Brien (Macbeth, The Nance, Hairspray). Doors open at 5 PM.
"Over the coming months, we’ll be hosting some of the theatre world’s most intriguing personalities for one on one chats about their life and work in the theatre and the funny and inspiring things that’ve happened along the way," according to 54 Below. "Expect tales of coming up in the business, paying dues, achieving success and working with the legends, all intermingled with performance clips and even, on occasion, live performances. Chat’s where it’s at!"
